The Isiah Shuler Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to eligible applicants who enroll at Sistas Academy. Prospective students must apply by June 14, 2019, complete a scholarship packet and demonstrate financial hardship.

High School Scholarship Program

High school seniors enrolled in Sistas 1500 hour Cosmetology program are eligible to apply for Sistas funded high school scholarships.  Available in the amounts of $1,500, $1,000 and $500. Applicants are evaluated and selected by Sistas scholarship review board, comprised of salon/industry professionals from local communities. The deadline for applications is May 25th of the student's senior year of high school. For more information contact Casey Rock at  sistasacademy@yahoo.com.    

The Joe Francis HairCare Scholarship Foundation                            VETERAN BENEFITS - GI BILL

Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship awards $1,000 scholarships for students enrolled or applying for enrollment to a barber or cosmetology school. Esthetician or Nail training students are not eligible. For details visit www.joefrancis.com.

Sistas Academy of Cosmetology is Approved by the Connecticut State Approving Agency/Office of Higher Education to enroll qualified veterans and their dependents to use their GI Bill educational benefits. Veterans and their dependents should call 888-GIBILL-1 or use the “Ask A Question” feature on the www.GIBILL.va.gov website to inquire about their application and claim status
